White Lined Circular Goatskin Rug

A genuine Goatskin Rug originates from a hardy breed of longhaired goat in China & Mongolia, unique in the world for their silky hair & soft under wool.

The longer 'guard' hair protects the goat from the elements and the under wool keeps it warm. This under wool is also spun and woven into the world famous 'Cashmere' wool used in making fine woollen garments. 

The hair is used for textiles & carpets, and other by-products form the stable diet in rural communities where these goats are farmed. It is chemically processed and occasionally slight shedding may occur - this is harmless and will not deteriorate or affect the goatskin rug. Goatskin rugs are very popular and sold worldwide.
